As you can see, this week is Adopt-A-Less-Adoptable-Pet Week (September 19 to 25). In honor of that challenge, I'd like to you to meet a sweet kitty in parts not too far from where I live.Here's her story in her own words...
Hi my name is Lucy. I am a domestic short hair mix. My birthday is 6/17/2005. I was originally brought to the SPCA in June of 2008 because my owner became homeless and could not afford to take care of me and my buddy. My buddy went home with a nice family shortly after but I stayed at the SPCA till April of 2009 when a nice family finally adopted me. After only a month living in a roomy house, I was returned due to sickness in my new family. Now I am still at the SPCA having spent nearly half of my short life here. I am living in a big cat room but it is not the same as a house with a family. I am litter box trained. I get along with children and other animals. My favorite thing to do is chase around toy mice. Please come in today to give me a chance at a forever home (finally). Love, Lucy
