The big event is that we went to Niagra Falls.... Luckily, Mike held tight to me so I didn't fall in, but I did get some unsightly spots on me from the mist. Everybuddy has told me that the spots look okay. HEE HEE. Wow... we had a great time seeing the falls.... Big and powerful!!!
After the falls, I sat in the garden for a few minutes to let my paper furs dry... I met a new friend there. He was not as afraid of the flat version of me as he would be a real cat. He was very nice and he was friendly too. He told me many things about the local cats....
There were decisions to make all over the place. We were very close to Canada. I had to think long and hard whether we should visit all of you pals in Canada...
Finally, we opted to stay in the USA this time. Maybe next time.
Anyway, we had a great trip. Many asked about the snow of last weekend. We were very lucky and didn't see any snow at all... Can you believe that???
I just want to take a minute to tell Toni and Mike how much I enjoyed going on the trip with them. It was wooooooooohoooooooo great!!!!!
Oops! I almost forgot. Here's another new friend of mine. He reminded me of Bugsy cuz he wanted to have his picture taken up close and personal.

FM, I just wanted to say Thank you for taking the time from your hectic schedule to travel with us to the "north" country. We were there to honor our son and other troops who were retiring from the Army at Ft Drum after serving 20 or more years in service for our country. As a bonus, Michael took us to Niagra Falls. I was delighted with the way you made friends so quickly. It gave me the opportunity to meet some of the local wildlife. We saw deer but they were too bashful to say hello. And we saw some huge turkeys that were too busy talking amongst themselves to greet us, but they did display their lovely tail feathers for us. My favorite meeting though was the little squirrel. When I bent down to take the picture of you and he close together, he ran up to the camera and reached out to pull it towards himself just as I snapped the picture. Surprised us all. What a Hoot!
We had a grand time on this adventure and will be sure to ask you along again. Next time though let's go some place warm...
