Max on ... decorating for Christmas

This is one of my old Christmas cards. I thought I'd haul it out for today's post. Kinda festive, doncha think?

It's time to decorate for Christmas, but we're a little stumped over here.  The boys are all for the tree idea, but HH doesn't think it'll last more than a minute and a half. She just knows they'll be climbing all over it and playing hockey with the ornaments. So, for now, we're taking old ornament pictures and putting them around the condo.  Yes, it'll look tacky, but at least there won't be broken bulbs everywhere.  HEE HEE... The creativity of these boys leaves me breathless some times.

Do you have a tree?  If so..... what are the consequences..? I mean, do you just look at it in awwwwwwe or do you dismantle it? Somehow, I think Knuckles and Bugsy are the dismantling type ... What do you think?

Have a great day...

Hi guys....Osiris and Brodie just like to hang out under the tree and mess with the packages (wrapping and ribbon). Maybe they aren't the dismantling type. We also use unbreakable ornaments...just in case.

Have fun anyway.

Drools and licks,
Minnie, Mack and the kitties

Mom wouldn't trust us with full time access to a tree with breakables on it. Last Christmas Audrey was pretty good at her other home, but the tree had all non breakable ornaments. Here at our house the tree goes in the living room, which has French Doors, so Mom and Dad can strictly manage our time with it to mainly Christmas morning. And time for a couple of photos.

Max, that card is just lovely. Your HH is very talented.

Yep, the dismantling type! We haven't put ours up yet, cuz of that little rugrat, Princeton!

Hi boys...this is my 10th Christmas and each year mom says...please let Madi's good behavior with the tree carry through this year. I like to sit under it but thus far that is it.
Milky-way the first feline of the family was indeed a TREE HUGGER.

Really, it's hard thinkin' "Christmas Tree" when it's 80 degrees outside, don't ya think? Mom misses livin' in Michigan during the holidays! (Think snow)

Have a great week!

Mum won't let us have a tree - she says we'd be swinging from the branches like Tarzan!!

Max! Beautiful card but your mommy is talented. I wish mom and I could be by her side for photo ops.

Mom just has a 3 foot tree..optic lighting in the branches and some unbreakable ornaments. I have left it alone but the One who came before me was a tree climbing terror. She was the one that broke mom of having a tall tree. xoxox

Lasted as long as a minute and a half??!! Good grief lol

Actually when we first had a tree with Austin, he just sniffed it a bit and then went and sat underneath it! Go figure..

Mom and Dad do not do a tree. Dad could care less, but Mom would like to do one. It just seems a lot of trouble for two old people!

We've always had a tree and done fine. Ichiro climbs in the lower branches. The ornaments down low are all unbreakable and cheap. But there is no problem!

The Cat From Hell said...

All us cats has climbed the tree. Mommy's Mommy used to tie the tree to the ceiling to stop the cats from knocking it over, so that is what our Mommy does. None of our ornaments are breakable (cuz if they was, they all has been broken). And a few years back, they gots a fake tree, its not as much fun to climb.
This year, me can't wait to see what Kozmo and Cinnamon think of a tree in the house!

We have alys had a tree and outside of an occasional tail knocking something off we have been good! Love the card!!!

Since we are mature kitties (although we often don't act like it), we don't cause too much trouble with the tree, when my human decides to put one up. (She hasn't decided if she is going to do that this year.) She also puts the non-breakable ornaments on the lower branches so it doesn't matter if they get knocked off.

What a great Christmas card that was!

Yes, we have a tree and so far we've only whapped one ornament. They're all non-breakable rustic ornaments anyway, nothing valuable. The mom's not that dumb. LOL.

We haven't had a tree since 1996! That's when we tipped the scales at SEVEN cats. We are apparently too "naughty". Whatever.

We like to sleep on the tree skirt and when Mumsy and Popsy go to bed at night we swat some of the little mice and a few other things off and play with them. Mumsy wires most everything on where we can't swat it off...we sure have fun trying to though. Hugs and nose kisses

We have our tree up but there's nothing breakable on it for some reason. We don't try to climb it but we love to run around it and get knock lots of needles off of it with our tails!

We have our tree up too but this year mom and dad had to puts a fence around it. I don't bother it at all but my brudder Max thinks all da ornaments on the tree look better in his mouth or on the floor. :)

We have a tree...and yeah, we play with the ornaments. So our mom puts soft ones or ones that won't break on the bottom. She says she gets tired of re-decorating the tree all the time though! But the worst thing we do is climb the tree! That makes our mom crazy! Most of the time we chase each other under tree and mess up the tree skirt. Right now our tree is up but there's no ornaments on it...mom waits a few days until we're used to having the tree in the house before decorating.

Love your Christmas card! Now my Human deprived me for 3 years from having a Christmas tree, then finally my tunnel brought me my own mini-tree last Christmas. Still my Human ended up putting it out of my reach, is there no justice?
