Thankful Thursday -- Warm Laundry

What? Get down? I don't think so.
The laundry is still warm.

It's Thankful Thursday... and again, Bugsy takes after me. He just loves laundry warm from the dryer and will settle in on it every time. So, today we give homage to warm laundry and say, "Thanks" to the dryer for doing such a good job.

Hope you're having a wonderful day today. Enjoy whatever you do even if it's just a simple thing like sitting on laundry.

Easy Like Sunday -- That's my boy!!!

It's Sunday and most of us are happily napping, but Bugsy is doing me proud...

If you read The Zen of Max, you know that one of my tricks was to steal HH's pens and hide them under the couch. Here's... Bugsy, following in my footsteps. What a proud moment for me!! My personal best was 46 pens under the couch. Let's see if the boy can top that. HEE HEE

TGIF... Are you having a good Friday?

I'm running behind over here. First off, I had to help HH write two blog posts this morning. She's guest blogging and so am I on another blog next month and we had to get those done. So, sorry I'm just getting around to this. It took some paws-on attention from me to make sure she got the wording just right. When they appear, I'll tell you when and where.

Then... HH left to go to a quilt group and forgot to leave the computer on... So, here I am, almost halfway through the day and just getting to say TGIF to you. Hope all is going well for you.

HH will be at that book fair tomorrow, so the boys and I will just be hanging out on our own. Might be a good time to teach them some of my more notable tricks. In any case, hope you have something wonderful planned for your weekend.

Thankful Thursday -- Thankful for Windows

Just sharing some thoughts from Bugsy and Knuckles...

They lived without windows for a part of their lives before HH found them at the SPCA of North Brevard. Now, since it's Thankful Thursday, they wanted me to tell you that they are thankful for windows. And they are especially thankful for windows on the third floor because they get to see the birds up close and personal.

Remember, it's the little things that are important. (Like the little cats and dogs... hee hee)

Sassafras needs a home...

It's Tuna Tuesday, so not only is it time for tuna, pals, but it's time to hear about one of the wonderful pets ready to be adopted at the SPCA of North Brevard.

OMC look at this cutie. Her name is Sassafras. She's only 2 months old; and if you're interested in adopting litter mates, 6 of her litter mates are also at the SPCA of North Brevard.

Her name is Sassafras ... what a beauty she is and she needs a home...

Sassafras here...and boy, am I happy to see you! I am a female Catahoula mix who was born on December 31, 2010. I was brought to the SPCA along with all of my brothers and sisters because another shelter ran out of room for us. I am a very sweet, active girl... I love every human that I meet. I am not housebroken yet, but I am still young and willing to learn! My breed is known for being very smart and active, so an apartment may not be the best home for me. I would like to be an indoor dog with a nice, big yard to romp in! Please come in soon and take me home...I am waiting patiently! Love, Sassafras

Nothing like a good ol' Sunday to be lazy and get ready for the new week.

Importnat Message from Knuckles...

Knuckles here...

Shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh... I'm sneaking onto the computer. I've been waiting for a day when Max didn't post. I need to put out an important message. I'm not sure I know how to do this, but here goes..

Okay... The other day HH shut Bugsy and Me in our suite (that's what we call our area in HH's office and the porch). Anyway, the plumber was coming so she didn't want us to help him, so she shut us in our suite.

That part was okay. We like it there, so we didn't mind. But..... but.... the problem was that when we came out the china cabinet was gone. Now, I'm not saying the plumber took it, but it's missing.

So, I'm putting out this Important Message: If you see the china cabinet (see picture below), send us an email... It's missing and it must be hungry by now or at the very least it must be missing having me sit on top of it.

Thanks.... peas and essss: Don't tell Max I hijacked his computer to send this message.

Easy Like Sunday

Okay, pals, this was a big week. HH gave the china cabinet to a neighbor to prevent flying kitties from getting into tooooooo much mischief. And, in the process she gave away the keyboard too.

But that doesn't mean that Bugsy and Knuckles didn't win. Guilt is a wonderful thing. To compensate for the loss of the "high" spot of their playground, HH gave them what Brian calls his Throne... And they love it.

...that's okay with Knuckles. He's just as happy with the bottom bunk...

TGIF- Happy Weekend Everybody

It's Friday!!! Last night HH went to a wonderful art exhibit. It combined artists and quilters in a collaboration. I don't know what that all means, but she said it was beautiful and if it contained quilts, you know I would have loved it... The show reminded HH that she was about to start quilts for the boys when their activity level kicked in and distracted her.

She is busily minimizing the distractions in the condo. Yesterday, she gave the china cabinet away. No more flying kitties in this condo. And the keyboard went too as that's the kick-off point to the pass through to the kitchen. So the pass through is now open again. We'll see how long it stays open. HEE HEE.

Here are the boys, opening their latest present. More on that later.

Hope you have great, fun plans for today. HH is rearranging the furniture again, so we're staying out of the way. Actually, the china cabinet is going... out... out ... out. Yes, it's just too much of a temptation for good ol' Knuckles-The Flying Cat. He's not just curious anymore. He's starting to act way-too comfortable at that height... See what I mean:

Isn't he cute. Well, he's with my friends at the SPCA of North Brevard. He just got there recently and he needs a good home. Here... I'll let him tell you a little about himself...

Hi, my name is Scooter. I was brought to the SPCA because my owners couldn't take care of me anymore. I was born in February 2010, and I haven't been around other animals or children yet, but I am willing to meet them if you have any. I am house and kennel trained so there won't be any accidents from me. I am a little shy when I first meet you, but I do warm up after. I would love a home where I am an inside dog, but with a nice fenced in yard to play in. My favorite game to play is fetch, I just love chasing the ball around. An apartment life would be okay for me because I am not getting any bigger, and I fit most weight limits. Please come in today and give me a chance at my forever home. Love, Scooter

Monday Morning

Bugsy on Monday Morning... (he's not faking it... that's really how
Bugsy looks on Monday morning.)

I try to tell Bugsy that Monday Morning is important. It's the start of #MeowMonday after all, but he's just not buying it. Knuckles is awake in seconds and ready for anything. Bugsy on the other paw, needs a little time to slowly rev his engines.

So, what's up this week?

We're anxiously awaiting the deliveries today, then we'll be let out of our suite. HH has the perfect set up here. The litter is on the porch and the food and water are in the office and she can shut the doors to each and we have a deluxe suite. So, even when delivery men or handy men stop by, we have our own space. Hoping this means the boys will not freak out too much. We'll see....

In any case, with a new stove/oven coming today, we are definitely expecting to smell some good stuff tonight... Wooo hooo...

Easy Like Sunday

As usual we're going to be taking it easy on Sunday over here... that is, the boys and I are going to take it easy. HH has work to do. She's having a new stove/oven and dishwasher delivered tomorrow. She has some work to do to get ready for the delivery... Like move all those pans out of the oven.... I told her long ago, it was a crazy place to store her pans.

I'm sure the boys will snoopervise her progress in the kitchen. I, however, will be napping. Have a great day everybody...

Oh, the picture above is of Knuckles. He loves to drag the tape measure wherever he goes. Very cute!!

Yesterday, I promised a picture of good little Knuckles triumphant in the attainment of his goal. Yup... he made it to the top of the china cabinet. Here he is surveying his kingdom from on high. HEE HEE... That boy cracks me up...
