Max... with a question for you...

Okay, pals... this is absolutely top secret. The boys don't know anything about it, but HH and I think the boys are old enough now to gain a little altitude in the condo.

If you followed us when HH first brought the boys home, you know they were climbers ... big time climbers. In fact, HH, if you remember, had to give away the china cabinet because Knuckles kept climbing to the top of it and dive-bombing people. She couldn't convince him not to do it ... he was just a baby, after all.

So, anyway, the secret is that HH is starting to look at cat trees for the boys. So, I told her I would help her do the research by asking all of you if you have a tree you really like and what it's called and where you got it.    ...... We thank you  on thankful Thursday for your help.

Our selection of cat trees is pretty limited, in store, here in our area in Ontario. But there seem to be lots of great U.S. sites that carry fabulous tress. You know that Abby's dad makes them, right? (Abby, Boo, Grace and Ping with mom Debra.) Maybe check them out, he does have a separate site or page with pics.

We like our triple layered cat tree that my pawrents got from PetSmart for $99. It has two boxes to lay in and a tunnel built into the bottom of it where we can either lay inside it or on top of it. We use it all the time because it's right in front of our big front window! Location is everything!

Our tree came from the RSPCA rescue in the UK - we love it and it's good as the profit goes back to the rescued animals needs. It's too far for you to get yours from though.

We will likely try Abby's Daddy next time too. Our current ones came from Drs Foster and Smith, we got them because of their wide and stable base.

We just got one, but it is only about 3.5 feet tall...mom found it at Anderson's. But we were looking at the ones that Abby's daddy makes and they look pretty cool!

Our condos aren't tall enough to think of as trees but they're still good fun. I don't know where the peeps got them. But I do know that when they go condo shopping, they're always concerned with finding something good and heavy... 'cause we'd topple them in an instant if they weren't. Climbing is a great sport. The boys are gonna love their new tree!

We got ours at PetSmart. It is over 5 feet tall and Mom can not get us down from the top spot. It has half pipe rests, two low and one at the top and a full tube with a window in one side. Mom would like to get another one like it, but can not fine it. WE do not know Abby so cannot go look at the ones her Dad makes.

THere are sone really crazy ones here: http://www.allpetfurniture.com/Cat-Trees-C180880.html

We have matching kitty towers. They are tall enough but have hiding cubbies and an open place to lay down. We got them at Petco. All the kitties love them!

All my kitties love our cat trees=they were ordered off of Amazon and we got a pretty good deal, also Wayfair (used to be CSN) has good deals on cat trees, but of course, you have to put these together (I did it by myself though, it wasn't too difficult)...Good luck and happy day, sweet friends...xoxo...J (Calle, Halle, Sukki)

I wish I could help, but our cat tree is a billion years old and we need a new one too! How about this one: it is called Katimanjaro and is 86" tall - I am trying to convince my human that she should get this one for us: http://www.playtimeworkshop.com/katimanjaro_cat_furniture.htm

My boys are all over their cat tree all the time, it is in the sunroom at the back of our house and they can watch bird TV all day!!! I got it at Petsmart and it's about 6' tall. I think the taller the better and if you can situate it by some big windows that is ideal :-)

We don't remember where we got our cat tree from - it was an online company with initials like cnn or something. Yeah, lots of help huh. Our mommy saw a really nice cat tree at Costco for $80 but she didn't get it for us though.

We got our cat tree on line at a site called CatsPlay.com (or something like that). It's 72 inches tall and we love climbing it!!

We woofies don't climb trees, but we think it is a great idea to get the boys a cat tree - dive bombing sounds like a lot of fun - maybe we need to learn how to do that too:)
