Knuckles update
Update: First, thanks to all of you who left comments today. We really appreciate them. So the good news is that the blood tests showed that he doesn't have any of the big diseases, such as feline leukemia, thyroid condition, diabetes, etc. The only abnormality is that he is anemic. So, the doctor is testing for a flea and tic disease. She explained that , although Knuckles doesn't come in contact with fleas or tics in the condo, he could have contracted the disease when he was a kitty in the shelter. I guess the symptoms come back on in cycles. So, she'll get in touch when she knows more.
Bugsy is still waiting for his brother to resume their wild play, but for now we're just having a quiet time over here while Knuckles sleeps.
Anyway, thanks for stopping by and for your wonderful thoughts. I'll update when I know more.

Whew! That's a big relief. The other can probably be successfully treated with medication. More purrs for Knuckles. ,
We appreciate the update. Continued purrs for Knuckles...We're not sure how that would be treated...iron supplements? Is it the same as for humans?
We B way behind in visiting but we had to stop and say whew, we are glad the tests so far are good and that those flea diseases can be treated so Knuckles can feel better soon...Purring for the K!
Sorry we weren't around to send purrs to you Knuckles. We are glad you aren't too sick. Hopefully the medication will make you feel better. Ask Mom what medication they gave you Knuckles?? Our Lucky turned out to be anemic. So now we are sending lots and lots of purrs to ya. Take care.

Knuckles that is very good news. I have always heard that if you are around the fleas and stuffs as a young'un.. and they carry the bad stuffs ... it can take YEARS to show up. WHEW.

Oh no, we didn't know Knuckles was under the weather. I guess it's good news it is not one of the Big Bad things. If it is what the Dr thinks, can he recover completely?
