My new pal, Garth Riley, is having a first ever silly photo contest. You know with the boys in this house we can't help but enter. We are setting up the bright lights tonight to do a little photo shoot.
Go to their website to check out all the particulars about it. Can't wait to see all the photos.
A few days ago, I showed you this picture of me (Flat Max) with my friend Zachary at camp. Well here are some more pictures of my stay at camp. I got to do everything, thanks to Zachary. He made sure I saw it all and did it all.
Here we are at the lake. Huge slides. I coulda gone
down that slide, but you know I'm not fond of getting my furs wet, so
Zachary made sure I didn't get near the water. Thanks Zachary....
Everybuddy at camp has a job to do. Mine was to guard the towels while they dried on the line.I'm happy to report that no towels were stolen during my watch. There was a close call when a big bird looked like he had his eye on that pink towel up front, but I scared him off.
Behind me is a view of the cabins at the camp. Great place.(I hope someone retrieves me from this mail box before the mailman comes. Yikes, I don't wanna get mailed somewhere by mistake.
This is the last picture... Look closely. There are shoes hanging in the tree. What a funny place to keep your shoes...!!!
Well.... This was a great week at camp. Thanks Zachary and Lois for taking me along. Now, Lois has told HH that I'm off on another adventure.. This time Austin, Texas. Check back for the results of that.
And, it's Sunday everyone.... have fun getting your Easy Like Sunday nap in gear.
Hi pals... reports of Flat Max's travels are coming in from around the world. Tomorrow, I'll have a full report on his trip to camp, but today I want to tell you what he did last night.
He attended a very fancy-dancy affair... Yep, he even had to wear his red carpet outfit cuz it was so fancy. It was the opening of Dog Days of Summer. That's an exhibit of the dog art of some of the best pet portrait painters in Florida. Well, HH's friend Sheila Wedegis was one of the artists invited to have her paintings in the exhibit. If you are in Florida and want to see the exhibit, it's at the Ormond Memorial Art Museum in Ormond Beach, Florida.
Here I am with Sheila next to one of her magnificent paintings. See... there are even doggies on her scarf...
I was a little leery, at first, of going into an all-dog arena, but No Problem at all. I even found a friend. He was a quiet guy, but it was nice to see another cat all dressed up for the affair.
It was a great evening and I'll have more pictures to show later. It seems HH forgot to put fresh batteries in her camera and .... well you know the rest. Hopefully, some of the others will send some pictures I can share with you.
Congratulations, Sheila. You are a Rock Star!!! See more of Sheila"s work here
We wish our friends at Zoolatry a Happy 5-Year Blogoversary. We sure are glad we know you and are included in your list of friends. You add so much to our lives.
The beauty of being flat is that you can be copied on a copy machine and can be in two, four, even six places at once. That's the case with Flat Max.
While one Flat Max is still in Switzerland living it up with Lois' friend Linda. Another Flat Max also went with Lois and her grandson to camp...
Today's picture shows Flat Max having a great time with Zachary in the dining hall at camp. Dining Hall... now that's a favorite spot for Flat Max... What a wonderful life it is indeed....
More to come in the near future... For now... Have a great day.

OOPs... We do have a great picture of Flat Max at the Book Club. .... Thanks to Lois, here's Flat Max at the meeting sitting on the bookcase near copies of his book. HH forgot completely that Lois had snapped a picture or two just before Flat Max high tailed it out of there and off to Switzerland.
Thanks Lois. We are so happy to have this to remember our visit with you and your book club members.
Bugsy here: Since I'm the one always sitting on a pile of books AND since today's post is about a book club, I get to post today...
Today we are thankful for Lois... She's HH's friend who invited HH to her book club to talk about The Zen of Max on Tuesday. It was a great afternoon and, of course HH took Flat Max with her to the meeting. She would have had pictures for you to look at, but Flat Max was so popular that he ran off with one of the members of the book club and is on his way to Switzerland.... yes, you heard me right.... he's on his way to Switzerland, Italy and I think maybe Paris....
Here's how it happened. One of the ladies, Linda was her name, mentioned that she wouldn't be able to stay long at the book club meeting because she was packing for a trip. So, HH decided to introduce Flat Max to the group at the beginning of her little talk instead of at the end. HE WAS A HIT!!! The group loved him and Linda asked if he could go with her to Switzerland. Well, you know Flat Max. He's always up for a trip. So off he went with Linda about 10 minutes into the meeting. I'm sure we'll have great pictures for later.
Anyway, HH wants to thank Lois for the great time they had at the meeting. It was super!!!
It's Wordless Wednesday, so I'll keep the words to a minimum. We are participating in the Blogville Olympics and will be hosting the Turbo Track event.
Enuff said for now. Watch for details and start training, pals.... I'm expecting all you turbotrackers to enter.
Bugsy here... Showing you a picture of Mr. Fancy Pants... HEE HEE... Yep! Up above me there is Knuckles as a poster. HH was playing around with some pictures this morning and this one stood out.... probably cuz she put a little too much blue in his eyes. Anyway, Knuckles liked it...go figure .... so it's the picture for today...
Thanks to everybuddy for all your comments about Monkey over the weekend. We really appreciate it. So now we're into a new week and are looking forward to having the rain stop, so the birds will park on the wire outside our window again. We are simple boys, not wanting much more than a bird or two to look at.
Monkey doesn't have a blog, but was a special cat of a very dear friend of HH's ... Monkey left on her journey to the bridge and beyond yesterday, and we'd just like to dedicate this day to her.
Monkey
Monkey and her sister Murphy who was waiting for her at the bridge.
Good Morning.... Bugsy here... We are participating in Blogville Pitty Post Day in supoort of our pal, Corbin, and all the other pittys out there.
Yes, we are cats, and yes, it might seem unusual for cats to participate in a day for pittys, but we are all for not judging each other by appearances or by news stories that you hear.
Every pet is an individual and should be loved by all...
It's Easy Like Sunday, pals. We're loving it. Over here, we are ready to snooze, to watch bird TV and to just be lazy and get our batteries charged for the new week coming up. Hope you all have a wonderful Sunday, too.
