Okay... so Isaac is heading toward maybe the gulf or Florida.  It is very wide so everybuddy should be prepared.  There is plenty of time to prepare. So today's post is a shopping list to help you buy what you need.  Here's what you should get....

Shopping list

1.  water ( to drink and fill the bathtub with water to flush the toilets if needed)

2. cat and dog food

3. treats for the cat and/ dog in your life.

4. toys to keep the cat or dog happy during the storm

5. nip to help calm your pet during the storm.

6. batteries so you can use the flashlights during a power outage.....

7. more cat and dog food (you don't want to run out, believe us)

8. more treats for the cute cat and/ dog in your life

9. more toys to keep the cat or dog happy during the storm.

10. extra nip... maybe even a little for yourself...

I think you'll be ready if you gather all the items on this list.  Oh.... one more thing..... buy lots of cat and dog food.... the premium kind.  Believe me.... you don't want to have to go out in the storm when you run out of food, do you?

Stop back tomorrow. We will have a report from our roving reporter in the storm... Yes, Brave Flat Max will don his rubber ducky rain coat and report from the center of Isaac. You don't want to miss that.

Till then.... stay safe and seriously ... make sure your pets are safe and have plenty of treats. (In fact maybe you should give them a treat right now ...just for practice sake).

Bugsy on Easy like Sunday

Here I am... straight from HH's phone to you. Pretty good picture for her phone, eh?  Anyway, I've been elected spokes-cat for today's blog.  Today we are wishing everybuddy a great Sunday.

We will be getting our easy on, but before that we will be bugging HH for a while.  We do like to play in the morning.

And, before I go.  I want to wish Ozzie (you know him... he was the picture of the dog on the table this week) a Happy Birthday. He's one  year old.

Have a great day.

Bugsy and Knuckles on the Weekend

Bugsy and Knuckles go NEON

Isn't this silly?  Sometimes HH seems way tooooooo busy, and then there are moments when it appears that she has tooooooo much time on her hands.  We love her anyways, but really.... Neon?  What is she thinking? Our furs look much better in their natural state, don'choooo think?

But, she was playing around with photoshop filters and just had to see what we would looking like in Neon.  Here's the result.  pretty crazy huh...? Oh well... it's only for a day.

We hope you're having a good day and that your bean doesn't turn you on in NEON...

hugs, Bugsy and Knuckles

Ozzie visits Max on Tooona Tuesday

Good morning everybuddy.... We have our energy back. MOL, it took a couple of days to unwind from the Olympics, for sure. But we are back up and running.

Table Ornament by Roger Wedegis
Look at this picture! This is my friend Ozzie.....and he's posing there.  He owns that position for sure.
Ozzie's a chocolate lab. I just love this picture.  It's called Table Ornament. He's the pup of friends of HH; and his food human, Roger Wedegis, is the master photographer of the picture.  You should see some of the other wonderful photos that Roger has taken of their dogs and other subjects too. He paints pictures of them too... There's one particular painting of a kitty...love it... it's very funny.

To see this picture on Fine Art America, CLICK HERE.  Oh...you can click around over there and see all his pictures if you want.  Thanks for letting me post this, Roger. I love Ozzie's humor. What a hoot!! It's about time Ozzie wandered onto my blog.

Well... you know what today is pals.  Yep... it's Toooona Tuesday. So enjoy.

And remember.... Max loves ya!!!

Max on... The end of the Olympics

This used to be one of my favorite snoozing spots.... It's Easy Like Sunday, so pick out your spot...
I don't know about you, but I'm gonna really miss the Olympics.  First off, it has taken me the whole time to learn to spell it without looking at the word. And now that I know how to spell it, I won't need it for another four years....

Secondly, the boys so enjoyed having HH stay up late every night and keep the TV on for them to watch the Olympics on the tube, and then get up early to see what events were on the computer in the Cat and Dog Olympics.  It seemed we never slept for the whole time.

Thirdly, the boys enjoyed HH falling asleep during the middle of the day due to exhaustion from staying up too late and all.  They always like to take naps with her. It rarely happens though, because she has this thing about not sleeping during the day. But during the Olympics, she made an exception...

However, we are thankful for it being Sunday. We'll watch the closing, of course, but it's Easy Like Sunday and we're going to nap like the athletes we are..... Today is a day for an Olympic Size Snooze!!!

Bugsy and Knuckles getting ready for a post-Olympic snooze...

Have a great day pals.

It's World Cat Day

What is World Cat Day?  It's not only a day to celebrate all things cat, in any way you choose  but it's a day to pamper, spoil and treat your cat to anything its little heart desires.

Think HH will believe that last part?

Don't know Knuckles, that's why I put it in bold.  You have to believe BOLD, right?

Right...

Happy World Cat Day to all our pals out there.

Flat Max attends an Art Show and Celebration.... What a trip this has been!

HH heard from Susan this morning and Flat Max has attended an art show and celebration. The featured artist is Gert Rohdin.  He's 93 years old and is a friend of Susan's.

Susan sent these pictures and said, "Flat Max came with me to The Artists' Cooperative Gallery of Westerly's 20th Anniversary show on Weds. Gert Rohdin was the featured artist." (Susan used to be a full time member of that gallery before she moved to Florida. )

Here is Flat Max by the sign announcing the event....

Here is a picture of the real Gert Rohdin at the show... He specializes is oil and watercolor.  What a great honor it was for Flat Max to be included in the celebration

And here is..... can you believe it... it's Flat Gert... Lynn Anderson made him flat for a display at the show.  Obviously Flat Gert and Flat Max had lots to talk about because Flat Max doesn't meet other flats very often... What a great time they both had.

Flat Max said to say hi to all of you...He is having a great time with Susan.

Enjoy the Olympics today everybuddy and Have a great weekend......

Party Time in Rhode Island with Flat Max and Susan

Knuckles here... Bugsy and I had a wonderful birthday yesterday. Thanks so much for stopping by.  Today, we are resting up from all the excitement, so we're gonna give you an update on Flat Max.

It looks like things are really popping on his trip.  It seems that Susan's family had a huge party to celebrate... various birthdays and her niece Sam's graduation from RISD (Rhode Island School of Design) at her brother's on Saturday. It rained all day so the pool stayed empty. But they all had a great time and Susan got to see lots of people she hadn't seen in a loooooong time.

And Flat Max got to meet lost of new people.  (It also appears he was in charge of the straws and the plastic forks... that was a good assignment for him... I don't think hr could get in too much trouble doing that).

Too much rain for party people to use the pool.  Too bad.
