Yesterday was quite a day!
Look what Katie Isabella's momma sent us. She gave the portrait HH did of Katie to her son and this is a picture of it in his office at work... What a great spot for it. We love it.
TGIF.... and that's for sure. We had a rough day, then a great day, then a rough day yesterday... three days in one. And no pictures of any of it.
First off, we had to go to the vet for our Annual Check-ups. We hadn't been in the car since the last time we went to the vet, but we did a good job of not meowing our heads off..... When we got in the exam room, HH let us out of our carriers... We were nervous, so we stayed close to HH. But when the vet was talking to HH, Bugsy got his nerve up and jumped up on the counter where they keep the dog bisquit jar... Well before you know it, Bugsy was nudging the lid (ceramic, mind you) off the jar with his nose.
HH warned the doc and he grabbed the lid just in time.... That commotion didn't faze Bugsy...he was on a mission and he stuck his head right in the jar and grabbed a dog bisquit for himself... He didn't think to grab one for me too... but he was lucky, the doc let him have it, so Bugsy got a treat....
So we survived our physicals and are doing fine. When we got back to the condo, HH gave us each a treat and went off to the DMV to renew her driver's license. She was only gone an hour, but we made use of that time. When she got home, she peeked in the kitchen window while she was opening the door and saw that the refrigerator door was open...... Yup... we got into the refrigerator.
She's hoping that she left the door ajar, because if she didn't, the other possibility is that we now know how to open the frig. We're not telling her which is true..... So today when she left for the studio, she took packing tape and taped the refrigerator door shut so there's no chance of us getting in it today.
However.... we are living high on our memory of yesterday's snack. We got bread out of the frig and Knuckles worked on that. You know how much he likes bread. I got out a bag of cheese and chewed through it and snacked on that. Also on the floor: butter, salad dressing, jelly, two apples and a bag of fresh broccoli.... Some of that didn't interest us. It just fell out when we were grabbing our favorites.
HH was shocked, then she looked at us with her "stern" face. We knew we weren't supposed to be in the frig, but who could resist... am I right? Well, amazingly enough... with our full bellies, we napped right through dinnertime and ... that's our story of yesterday's adventures.
Have a great day.
