Happy Birthday to US.... WE ARE 3 YEARS OLD

It's our birthday today and we are so excited... First you are all invited over for Birthday Cake....made of tooona....

We wanted to show you some of the goodies that we got for our birthday. Our friends Noodles and Lindsey picked them out for us.  Here's a picture of Noodles with shades.  HH hasn't painted Lindsey's picture yet, so you'll have to see that another time.

Anyway... it was nice of them to celebrate our birthdays by giving us these wonderful gifts.

First ... Look at this. It's one of those great scratching thingies,.,.. it's in the shape of a fish.  Bugsy couldn't wait to get a look at the inside of it and he stuck his head through one side of the shrink wrap.

Oh-oh... are you stuck, Bugsy?
And here's one of both of us playing on the fish....

We also got some mice and some cigars... You know we're Ganster Cats.... Partners in Crime... well these nip cigars fit our personalities perfectly.

And the most spectacular present of all is that we got this feeding/treat station.  HH just scatters the food around on it and we try to get it out of all the different thingies.  The only thing that we're having the most problem with is the globes.  Bugsy tried to stick his whole face in one of them. That didn't work. And we're a little reluctant to stick our paws in.... they might get stuck, and then what would we do?

Anyway... we're having a great birthday. So, come on and join us for some cake.

Thanks for stopping by..... Have a great day.

Thankful Thursday.... We're thankful that Flat Max has returned.

Flat Max Returns!!!

Flat Max has returned from Scotland and gave me these last few pictures to post. He wanted me to tell you too that he had a wonderful time and to thank Sheila, Roger and Ray for taking him with them on their vacation.

This picture is of one of the friends Flat Max made over in Scotland. He also met many sheep, cows and dogs while there. Animals galore. He loved it.!!!!

This is a picture of Max at Maggie's resting place.  Maggie was a Scottish dog and Max wanted to pay his respects....

When it was time to head toward the airport to start the trip back to the states, Flat Max decided his best bet in catching a ride home would be to stand by the Assembly Point.  Smart thinking, right? (not sure where his ear is, but he did have it when he returned to Florida, so it's not lost completely)

And last but not least.... Here's Flat Max in the car.  He's not gonna be left behind ....

Flat Max will be resting all week, cuz he has another trip starting next Wednesday.

Everybuddy have a great Thankful Thursday...

Us, we're thankful that Flat Max is home and we're thankful that he got to go on such a wonderful trip.

Have a great day.

Easy Like Sunday

Happy Sunday everybuddy.... As you can see, Knuckles already has his easy on.  I have to stay awake just long enough to tell you what Flat Max is up to......

He is still in Scotland and he went to the America Gundog dinner with Roger and the pups.  Roger wrote HH to say that Flat Max insisted on wearing his slicker to the dinner cuz he knows how kissy those dogs can get.... MOL>>>>>

Here are some pictures of them....

Wishing you all a Happy Sunday.

First of all.... here are some other Flats that he met in Wick.... He likes that they are on porcelain and their ink does not run in the rain like his does...

Flat Max and the group at Whiterspoons for coffee and cakes...Yummy and such great company....

Happy Monday...

It's me.... Knuckles.... I'm here to give you the latest update on Flat Max's trip, but first I want to tell you something ...  We almost got to eat LOBSTER this past weekend.  We've been hearing about this Old Fashioned Clam Bake they were having by the pool at the condo.  We signed up... ("we" meaning Bugsy and me) but somehow HH went out the door to have her shrimp, lobster, corn, etc and forgot us. Yep... she left us behind the closed door..... And she had the nerve to come back smelling like LOBSTER.... we are planning retaliation.... that's for sure...

Okay... now onto more pleasant topics.  Part 2: Max in Scotland.

Max reports that he's having a great time in Scotland and that he has met lots of dogs over there.  It seems that all the friends of Roger and Sheila have lots of dogs.  And ... with Sheila he got to meet this horse..... Isn't he beautiful.......

And here are some of the puppies Flat Max has met on the trip and a little scenery too...

And he met these puppies along the way too..... MOL...... They better watch out cuz I think the Loch Ness monster is right behind them...

And Max met this guy over there... Roger called him Flat Frisbee Cat....

And to conclude today's tour...Here's the scene out their hotel window.

We know Flat Max is having a great time.  Hope you all have a super Monday too.

Flat Max in Scotland... or getting there....

Yesterday was a big day for Flat Max.  HH packed him up in the morning and gave him over to Sheila with strict orders to use his rain gear when necessary... Off he went with Roger and Sheila to the airport in Orlando. Here's Flat Max helping Roger drive.... It started out okay, but pretty soon it was raining and they were still in Florida...

Much to Flat Max's surprise and pleasure, they ate dinner at Outback before flying anywhere.  He didn't know that the trip was going to be so filled with noms..... Looking forward to more and more good eats along the way.

Sheila and Flat Max at Outback
Flying.... higher than the birds.... Here are Flat Max's three companions in the plane...... Luxury accommodations.  And Flat Max didn't even have to go under the seat.  No sire... he sat in the magazine pouch right in front of Sheila.  Nice digs!  Here are Flat Max's traveling companions.... Ray.... Roger..... and Sheila.....

They're off...... and here they are hamming it up..... It's gonna be a great trip for Flat Max.... and his new  best friends.

Here they are (Sheila, Ray, and Roger) as Labs..... Don't know why they aren't kitties,  but Labs are wonderful too.

That's today's version of the Scotland Adventure of FlatMax.... or Labraventure as Sheila calls it.....

More to come soon.... Stay Tuned.

Flat Max is going to Scotland

We get to tell you the most exciting news...... Flat Max is leaving today on an airplane and is going to Scotland.

We wrote ahead to Max at the bridge and he gave permission for Flat Max to go with HH's friends Sheila and Roger to Scotland for 11 days.  The picture above is Flat Max and Sheila.  She is holding two FMs becuz it is very rainy over there sometimes, so we felt it was important for FM to take his rain gear with him.  (We don't want a repeat of what happened to him at Niagra Falls now do we?)

Anyway, his bag is packed and he'll be off to see sheep, goats, cows, beautiful scenery and wonderful people.  We will be waiting patiently to hear all about it and will post pictures when we have something to report.

So....... let the ADVENTURE BEGIN...

Have a great day everybuddy.

Toooona Tuesday

Good morning to all our pals.  Sorry we haven't posted in a few days. We've been trying to master that opening-the-freezer move.  We haven't got it yet.  We think it's cuz HH won't put a towel in the bottom handle on the frig.

Anyhooooooo.... it's Tooona Tuesday... so we had to take a day off from practicing our frig maneuvers to spend the day in happy toooooaness with you.

So today we are, of course, inviting you to join us.  HH has gone to the studio, so plenty of room for everyone and plenty of toona.  Just one thing: bring your own can opener.

See you soon...

hugs, Bugsy and Knuckles

PeeeeSSSSSS:  We can play turbo track tooo.

Instructional video... opeing the freezer...

First of all, Happy 4th of July to everybuddy... For you today, we are presenting this instructional video on how to get into the freezer. The other day we got into the refrigerator. And many wondered how. This is not a video of us, but we thought it might help you in your own refrigerator/freezer strategy. Enjoy.

Have a wonderful day... and don't forget to put your earplugs in before the fireworks tonight. hugs, Bugsy and Knuckles

Toooooooona Tuesday.....

There are only a gazillion ways you can cook toooooona.... and we have decided that today, we want it straight from the can.  We've put our order in to HH and are awaiting her arrival with about 500 pounds of Toooona.

This is what we look like when we are waiting patiently.  You don't want to see our impatient picture.

Our order has arrived... OH's a Toooona Sub..... Not to worry.... that will do as well.

Have a great Toona Tuesday and if you're short on toooona, come on over. This sub is ginormous...

Max's Day

Hot, hot, hot.....down here... We just keep getting those afternoon rains that last for half an hour then turn to steam.  We are soooooooo lucky to be indoor cats.  We do love the air conditioning.

Today ... we are remembering Max.  It's his birthday.... He would have been 23. We never met him, but HH had him for 18 1/2 years... That's a long, long time.

Hope you all have a great week planned. Take a look at  ColorCat 10 if you're interested  HH painted him on the weekend,.

Hugs, Bugsy and Knuckles
